Recruiter to make USAREC history with new patch design

FORT KNOX, Ky. — A new patch is coming to U.S. Army Recruiting Command, courtesy of one of its own recruiters. Sgt. 1st Class Eddie Haddle, an Army recruiter stationed in Utah, designed the shoulder sleeve insignia that will become the official patch for the command Sept. 14.

Another ‘first’ for the Army during recruiting push

The obstacle this time? A pandemic that stymied traditional recruiting methods, which put the Army behind pace of reaching its end-strength goal for the year of 485,000 Soldiers.

USAREC Best Warrior named after first-ever virtual competition

FORT KNOX, Ky. — A 2nd Recruiting Brigade Soldier was named the U.S. Army Recruiting Command Best Warrior after the command’s first virtual competition held June 22-25. Staff Sgt. Channing Hosey, who is a recruiter in the Raleigh Battalion, won the weeklong competition, which included a combination of physical challenges at the home station and a virtual board to test their knowledge.
