Meet the Top 13 Recruiters - Sgt. 1st Class Mohamed Kaba

Sgt. 1st Class Mohamed K. Kaba, a native of Conakry, Guinea, serves as a recruiter with the Hempstead Recruiting Station in Hempstead, New York. Kaba recently attended the Top 13 Recruiter ceremony, for the second time, as one of the 1st Brigade top recruiters.

Soldier develops referral ribbon initiative to help Army meet recruiting goals

Soldiers Army-wide earn rewards and recognition for referring new recruits – thanks to the personal mission of one of their own. The mastermind behind the U.S. Army Recruiting Ribbon, Master Sgt. Andra Bellamy of the Cleveland Recruiting Battalion Operations, said this initiative was a crucial step in the Soldier Referral Program.

20 Soldiers Master their Craft

This week 32 Soldiers from across the country traveled to Fort Knox, Kentucky, to participate in the Master Recruiter Badge competition. After a week of intense testing and preparation, 20 Soldiers emerged as experts in the recruiting field and earned the Master Recruiter Badge in a ceremony at U.S. Army Recruiting Command headquarters, Dec. 8.

Thirteen command teams, consisting of company commanders and first sergeants, headed to the Pentagon July 11 for a recognition ceremony hosted by the Army chief of staff in the Hall of Heroes.

Last week 24 Soldiers traveled to Fort Knox to participate in the Master Recruiter Badge competition. After a week of intense testing and preparation, 10 Soldiers emerged as experts in the recruiting field and have earned the Master Recruiter Badge in a ceremony at U.S. Army Recruiting Command headquarters on Dec. 09.
