USAREC Best Warrior named after first-ever virtual competition

A 2nd Recruiting Brigade Soldier was named the U.S. Army Recruiting Command Best Warrior after the command’s first virtual competition held June 22-25. Staff Sgt. Channing Hosey, who is a recruiter in the Raleigh Battalion, won the weeklong competition, which included a combination of physical challenges at the home station and a virtual board to test their knowledge.

The U.S. Army is seeking qualified individuals to serve as active duty psychological operations specialists and is offering signing bonuses up to $30,000 or student loan repayment up to $65,000, depending on the length of the term of service and the training ship date.

The U.S. Army continues to fight to protect Americans from aggressors 245 years later. Recruiting and Retention College instructor named TRADOC NCO Instructor of the Year

For the second year in a row, an instructor from the U.S. Army Recruiting and Retention College has been named the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Noncommissioned Officer Instructor of the Year. Sgt. 1st Class Heather Rankin was announced among the 2020 winners in a TRADOC memorandum May 8.
