March 15, 2019 - Four U.S. Army Recruiting Command civilians claimed first-place in seven different categories in the Training and Doctrine Command-level 2018 Maj. Gen. Keith L. Ware Communications Awards competition.

U.S. Army 3rd Recruiting Brigade Conducts E-Game Demo
March 13, 2019 - The U.S. Army 3rd Recruiting Brigade participated in an esports demonstration during leadership training March 5. The demonstration provided battalion leadership teams hands-on experience to better understand the value of esports in the modernizing of recruiting efforts. .

Operation Reserve Rush Award Ceremony
Feb. 4, 2019 - U.S. Army 3rd Recruiting Brigade Commander, Col. Eric Lopez presented awards to winners of the brigades mission referral initiative ‘Operation Reserve Rush’ in a ceremony at Olive Theater. U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers and the 3rd and 7th Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Brigades, were recognized for helping to increase enlistment and support the recruiting mission of the U.S. Army.

The Chicago Recruiting Battalion recruits with integrity the most qualified men and women to meet the needs of an expeditionary Army, while training the force, developing leaders, and taking exceptional care of Soldiers, Civilians and Families.. .

Vision Statement

The Chicago Recruiting Battalion will be a mission based organization that enlists the most qualified Soldiers for both the Army Reserves and the Active Army components.  We will function as a team-of-teams, where every individual recruiter and staff member will conduct him/herself as a professional and always remain in line with the Army Values, the NCO Creed, and the Warrior Ethos.  We will inspire our local communities by maintaining superb physical fitness, by illuminating the virtues of Army service to the nation, and by fully integrating into schools and local activities.  Through all these endeavors, we will support our families and strive to make work fun and rewarding.  Strength and Honor! Always Prepared!
