Every day, throughout our Area of Operation, the Great Lakes Recruiting Battalion recruits quality Soldiers, both officers and enlisted, to meet the needs of an expeditionary Army. The Battalion carries out this mission with integrity so as to reflect the Warrior Ethos and Army Values.

Community rallies around Soldier's journey to join the Army

May 10, 2023 - Everyone who earns the title of American Soldier has a unique story of how they got there, and this journey was no different for Pvt. Torben Scott, from Cody, Wyoming, who accepted this challenge to not only change his life, but the lives of those around him.

MRB hosts 2023 Army Medicine Experience
Community Partners had the opportunity to tour facilities at Brooke Army Medical Center that included and overview with MG Appenzeller, BG Teyhen, tours of the Simulation Center, USAISR Burn Center, Center for the Intrepid, Emergency Department and Laboratory. The day concluded with a tour of the AMEDD museum.
May 9, 2023 - Col. Katrina Walters, Commander of the U.S. Army Medical Recruiting Brigade, recently hosted the Army Medicine Experience in San Antonio. The tour showcased all aspects of Army Healthcare to cultivate key stakeholders and community partner relationships.

Future Soldier Takes Lambeau Leap

May 9, 2023 - Jaylin Knox, of Ames, Iowa took a Lambeau Leap into the United States Army after witnessing Maj. Gen. Johnny K. Davis, Commanding General, United States Recruiting Command and Fort Knox administer a swearing-in and reenlistment for future Soldiers, and Army Reserve Soldiers during halftime of a Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams game in December 2022.
