SAN ANTONIO — The 5th Recruiting Brigade held its Change of Command ceremony on July 16, 2026 at the historic Alamo, where they welcomed Col. Benjamin K. Bennett as the new commander and bid a fond farewell to the outgoing commander, Col. Julian Perez.

The Expanding Impact of the U.S. Army Experience

FORT HOOD, TEXAS — Rows of yellow school buses filled the parking lots of Sadowski Field as the booming echoes of drill sergeants resonated in the air. Mixed with the exhausted but determined breathing of high school athletes, the familiar sound of military discipline reverberated as students pushed past their limits and navigated an Army obstacle course.

Glendale honors the next generation of heroes at 2026 Military Induction Ceremony

PHOENIX, Ariz. — The bright lights of Desert Diamond Arena shone on a new class of recruits as Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers and the Mayor’s Military Mission hosted the annual Military Induction Ceremony. This is a grand, community-wide "sending off" for the Valley’s bravest sons and daughters before they march toward the horizon of basic training.

Golden Knights Take Arizona Educators and Leaders to New Heights

MARANA, Ariz. — While the desert heat shimmered over Marana, the real excitement was falling through the skies. For three days, the U.S. Army Golden Knights hosted their first tandem camp in the Grand Canyon State.

Sgt. 1st Class David Staples, a Recruiter with San Marcos Recruiting Company, San Marcos, TX was raised in poverty and realized leaving this community of 2,000 was the key to his success.

U.S. Army Fitness Challenge Energizes Battalion Area High Schools

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Over two weeks of high-energy teamwork, mentorship, and competition, the U.S. Army Fitness Challenge reached more than 1,800 students across six Kansas City Battalion area high schools. Organized by the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion – Kansas City, the events emphasized discipline, leadership, and service while generating over 600 age-qualified leads and multiple follow-up appointments.

Recruiters Rescue Struck Motorcyclist
