Army astronaut to administer oath of enlistment from space

U.S. Army Recruiting Command is partnering with NASA and Space Center Houston to host the first nationwide oath of enlistment from the International Space Station on Feb. 26, 2020. Army astronaut Col. Andrew Morgan will administer the oath on a live broadcast more than 800 Future Soldiers at more than 100 locations across the country and will answer questions from participating schools.

Army leaders recognize top recruiters for recent success

Army leaders honored some of the force's top recruiters at a ceremony Wednesday for their efforts in placing nearly 200 recruits in uniform during the first quarter of this fiscal year. New entrance test to increase Soldier quality, reduce attrition

A new military entrance exam is now being given to Army recruits to predict performance, behaviors, attitude, and attrition of potential Soldiers. The pilot program is designed to see how the Army can get best-fit recruits, even in jobs that require slightly higher standardized test scores than the applicant achieved.
