Phoenix recruiting medic spearheads battalion COVID-19 efforts

PHOENIX — As the fight to contain the new coronavirus continues, one medic in the Phoenix Recruiting Battalion is doing his part to ensure Soldiers and families in the battalion remain safe from the disease. Sgt. 1st Class Jared Siple, recruiter, Buckeye Recruiting Station, Phoenix West Recruiting Company, is currently serving as the lead medic for the battalion COVID-19 Medical Tracker Team, which oversees both the states of Arizona and New Mexico.

DANVILLE, Va. — In 2018, while serving as an Army recruiter in Tampa, Florida, Davis was encouraged to apply for the Army Bass Anglers team. Accompanied by his trusted Pomeranian, Fox, Davis cruises up and down Virginia and North Carolina in pursuit of calm waters and the perfect catch.

The Fernandez team is assigned to the Hartford Recruiting Company, one of seven in the Albany Recruiting Battalion. They’ve known each other for five years, been married for three, and have managed to get stationed together for every assignment in their Army careers.

Combat medic covers down on medical advice for Oklahoma City Recruiting Battalion

WITCHITA, Kan. — During the COVID-19 pandemic most of the United States is teleworking and going virtual eight hours a day, the US Army is no different. Staff Sgt. Christopher Friesen, an Army recruiter assigned to Army Recruiting Station Wichita West, Kansas, volunteered his services to virtually screen the members of his battalion for COVID-19 symptoms.

FORT KNOX, Ky. — While the U.S. Army Esports Team already spends much of its time in the digital space it has increased its online presence in support of current operations. As people work through this period of social distancing, the team is stepping up their game to provide more content and engagement on its digital platforms.
