Army leaders recognize top recruiters for recent success

Army leaders honored some of the force's top recruiters at a ceremony Wednesday for their efforts in placing nearly 200 recruits in uniform during the first quarter of this fiscal year. Sixteen recruiters from across U.S. Army Recruiting Command were recognized at the ceremony inside the Pentagon's Hall of Heroes, including two staff sergeants from the same recruiting station in California.

The Partnership for Youth Success program held a partnership signing agreement between the U.S. Army and Integrated Electrical Services Communications Jan. 21 at IES headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. U.S. Army Recruiting Command has received multiple calls and emails about these fake text messages and wants to ensure Americans understand these texts are false and were not initiated by this command or the U.S. Army.

New entrance test to increase Soldier quality, reduce attrition

A new military entrance exam is now being given to Army recruits to predict performance, behaviors, attitude, and attrition of potential Soldiers. The pilot program is designed to see how the Army can get best-fit recruits, even in jobs that require slightly higher standardized test scores than the applicant achieved.
