Army recruiter is contestant on ‘The Voice’

FORT KNOX, Ky. — For Sgt. 1st Class Samuel Woodberry, music has always been a part of his life. His talent was seen by the nation March 2 when he appeared as a contestant on NBC’s “The Voice” under his stage name, Sam Wilco, and was selected to move onto the next round as part of Nick Jonas’ team.

Recruiting and Retention College welcomes new leader

FORT KNOX, Ky. — Leaders and staff of the Recruiting and Retention College bid farewell to one leader and welcomed another during a change of responsibility ceremony here Nov. 21.

TRADOC recognizes Army's best instructors of 2019

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command recognized the Army’s seven best instructors during the 2019 TRADOC Instructor of the Year Awards ceremony here, August 7. During the ceremony, Gen. Paul E. Funk II, commanding general, TRADOC, praised the winners and emphasized the critical role Army instructors play in mission success.

FORT KNOX, Ky. — Life flipped upside down for Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Waters on July 30, 2008, when an improvised explosive device caused massive damage to his vehicle in Afghanistan, leaving him and his fellow Soldiers injured and unconscious.
