New Army exhibit asks students to ‘Decide to Lead’

ORLANDO, Fla — The U.S. Army reached out to thousands of students and educators during the 2019 Distributive Education Clubs of America Conference in Orlando, Florida, April 28-29, by asking them to “Decide to Lead”.

Army recruiter Staff Sgt. Joshua Crupper, 28, sustained the injury from an accident during a family celebration at his home in Independence, Kentucky.

Columbus Battalion recruiter died in weekend accident

FORT KNOX, Ky. — A Soldier assigned to the Columbus Army Recruiting Battalion died at University of Cincinnati Health Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, May 5.

The USAREC 2019 Best Warrior is Staff Sgt. Cayce Watson, Portland Recruiting Battalion, 6th Recruiting Brigade. He will move on to the Training and Doctrine Command competition happening at Fort Rucker, Alabama July 14-19.

Newly commissioned 2LT to train as Black Hawk pilot

Nashville, Tenn. — A newly commissioned Army officer credits a lifelong love of all things science, technology, engineering and math and the help of her husband and an Army recruiter with helping her reach her goal to fly Black Hawks.

Educators get a glimpse into Army life

FORT KNOX, Ky. — The Army is a viable career option for young men and women. That is what U.S. Army Recruiting Command showed 25 education influencers, from across the U.S. during the National Educator Tour hosted at Fort Benning, Georgia, April 23-25. The National Educator Tour brings senior-level educators, including superintendents, organizational vice presidents, and private industry presidents, from across the nation to visit an Army base and allow them to experience a day in the life of a Soldier.
