SAMC is a private U.S. Army organization only open to noncommissioned officers. Members must demonstrate leadership qualities, achievements, and their performance must merit special recognition before their application may be considered to join.

Inductees go through an extensive process before joining, including a recommendation from their command and rigorous board and are expected to live up to the four tenets of the SAMC: loyalty, discipline, professionalism and caring.

The NCO's will be inducted into the SAMC on July 29, 2021.
