FORT KNOX, Ky. –
The U.S. Army Recruiting Command held the annual Master Recruiter Badge competition here from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.
Of the 27 competitors, seven recruiters earned the badge Nov. 2.

Maj. Gen Frank Muth and Command Sgt. Maj. Tabitha Gavia, USAREC Command team hosted the ceremony.
“It is our job and our mission in the Army and the nation to put people in boots. It’s the bottom line,”Muth said. “You have basic skillset, but as you become the subject matter expert, you go from basic to advance to senior typically to mastering your vocation. Sitting before us today are those people that had the commitment and professional dedication to drive themselves to that master level.”
Gavia asked all the recruiters who hold a Master recruiter Badge to stand up.
“You are the experts in our regiment, “Gavia said. “You set the standards for all that follow. You are the leaders to ensure that we have the technical competence to accomplish the mission.
