Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion soldier takes new career step as a warrant officer

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Before her assignment with the Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, Staff Sgt. Shanee Bowman never gave much consideration to becoming a warrant officer.

The Patchogue and Smithtown Stations answered the call to service by volunteering their time and donating food to first responders.

FORT KNOX, Ky. — Sgt. 1st Class Peter Mitchell wears more than one uniform to support and protect his community and his nation.

The Fernandez team is assigned to the Hartford Recruiting Company, one of seven in the Albany Recruiting Battalion. They’ve known each other for five years, been married for three, and have managed to get stationed together for every assignment in their Army careers.
