Army Information Environment Kick-off and team selection

The U.S. Army is implementing the new Army Accessions Information Environment system used by U.S. Army Recruiting Command to process applicants for enlistment.

Earlier this month participants from the AIE Functional Team met with the Program Management Office and the solution provider, Booz Allen Hamilton, to initiate the planning for this critical Army program. The Functional Team created an aggressive schedule to support the configuration of the foundational capabilities of AIE.

The AIE Functional Team lead for U.S. Army Training Doctrine Command is Rick Ayer with Dave Paschal, Deputy G-3/5/7 TRADOC, to provide direct oversight.  Ayer and the functional team will oversee the AIE for the duration for the project.

USAREC has also established an AIE Team who will work directly with USAREC stakeholders with scheduling, performing training and deployment activities to deliver the AIE capability in an efficient manner.

The team is made up of five senior non-commissioned officers from USAREC:

Master Sgt. Kelly C. Duke

Sgt. 1st Class Michael B. Dukes

Sgt. 1st Class Mark F. Leon Guerrero

Sgt. 1st Class Lindsay D. Dally

Sgt. 1st Class Christopher Kershaw

The goal of AIE is to create an environment where Army recruiters in the field and USAREC leadership can, in real-time, create, access, apply, transport, and register information for enterprise-wide use. AIE will maximize capabilities in prospecting, interviewing, processing, leading future Soldiers and sustainment.

The team will be coming to the U.S. Army Recruiting Command headquarters throughout the summer.
