CSM Finch enlisted in the city of Omaha, Nebraska, on 10/06/93 as an Infantryman.

He attended OSUT training at Fort Benning, Georgia.

CSM Finch served as an infantryman, indirect-fire infantryman, fire direction computer, section sergeant, recruiter, LP station commander, senior recruiter trainer, company OPS training NCO, master trainer, 1SG, SMU recruiter, OPS NCOIC, SMU 1SG, Recruiting Detachment SGM, and Battalion OPS SGM.

His stateside assignments include Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Kansas City Recruiting Battalion; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Fort Bliss, Texas; and Milwaukee Recruiting Battalion. His overseas assignments include Forts Kobe and Clayton in Panama; Saini, Egypt; and Afghanistan.

CSM Finch’s military education includes Infantry OSUT, Infantry Mortar Leaders Course, Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Army Recruiter Course, Recruiter Trainer NCO Course, Guidance Counselor Course, Combat Skills Course, Recruiting Company Commander First Sergeant Course, Master Resilience Training Course, and class 67 graduate of the Sergeants Major Academy.

CSM Finch resides in Glen Burnie, Maryland, with his wife Nicole. His two daughters, Honor and Liberty,  reside in Wilmington, North Carolina.
