Command Sergeant Major Scott A. Wolfe assumed responsibility of the Atlanta Recruiting Battalion on 10 September 2020. He is a native of Nacogdoches, Texas. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in October of 1999, where he attended Basic Combat Training and AIT at Fort Benning, GA. His military occupation specialty was as an Infantryman. His early assignments include 1/505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, Ft. Bragg, NC, and 1/22 Infantry Regiment, Ft. Hood, TX.
CSM Wolfe’s previous USAREC assignments include Station Commander, Kansas City Recruiting Battalion; Station Commander, Houston Recruiting Battalion; SMU Recruiting Team Leader and Support and Direct Support Operations NCOIC, Fort Bragg, NC; First Sergeant, Houston West Recruiting Company and First Sergeant, Houston South Recruiting Company, Houston Recruiting Battalion. CSM Wolfe’s last duty assignment was as the Operations Sergeant Major, Phoenix Recruiting Battalion.
CSM Wolfe is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy-Class 69. He has completed all levels of Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development System, First Sergeant’s course, Army Recruiter Course, Station Commander Course, Recruiter Trainer Course, Master Resiliency Trainer Course, Executive Communications Course, Combat Skills Course and the Joint Special Operations Command Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification Course. CSM Wolfe graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a Masters of Art Degree in Leadership Studies.
