Sergeant Jarrod McGaffic

Sergeant Jarrod McGaffic was born in West Milton, Ohio, and graduated from Milton-Union High School in 2009. He joined the Army in 2009 and completed basic training and Military Police AIT at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in 2010. He was with the Ohio National Guard from 2010 to 2016 with a deployment to Qatar from 2012 to 2013. He joined the USAMU in 2016 as a gunsmith for the Customs Firearms Shop and later became a service rifle shooter in 2018.

Sergeant McGaffic had a successful first year with the team. Getting his Distinguished Marksmanship Badge and receiving the Presidents Hundred tab and barely missing the shootout by one slot. He also won the Camp Perry Palma match at the CMP Long Range Competition. He was also a member of the winning Team for the Bataan Memorial Team Match and the Winder Memorial Team Match at the CMP Long Range Competition.

His military training includes Combat Lifesaver Course (2019), Basic Leadership Course (2018)

His awards include two Army Achievement Medals, and the German Armed Proficiency badge, Distinguished Riflemans Badge, and the Presidents Hundred Tab
