Capt. Sydney Moskovitz

Capt. Sydney Moskovitz was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but grew up in Florida. She enlisted in the Air Force in 2013 and become an Army Officer in 2016 through an Army ROTC program. During her time as a cadet, she earned her Air Assault wings, became a Master Fitness Trainer and received a gold badge through a German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency Challenge. She graduated as a distinguished graduated with a bachelor’s in finance from Middle Tennessee State University.

In 2019, she commissioned as a field artillery (13A) 2nd Lieutenant and attended Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After finished the BOLC, she was stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii where she served in 3rd Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Battalion as a fires direction platoon leader and a fire support officer for the 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment.

Moskovitz began participating in CrossFit in 2016 at Charleston, South Carolina. She began to compete in CrossFit and tried out for the Army Warrior Fitness team in 2020. She became a member of the Army Warrior Fitness Team at Fort Knox, Kentucky in August 2021.
