Staff Sgt. Lance Young was born in Lancaster, California, and is the first member of his family to serve in the United States Army. He joined after completing at Antelope Valley College at 22-years-old.
Staff Sgt. has been in the Army for almost nine years and plans on staying in for the foreseeable future.
As a wheeled vehicle mechanic, Staff Sgt. Young served at five duty stations in Korea, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Tennessee, and Kentucky. His love for gaming started at a very young age when he fell in love with the Mario Bros series and continued where he first became competitive in Halo 3. Gaming for him is a stress reliever and a perfect way to kill some time. He now plays Apex Legends and reached Ranked 19th pred in the world and consistently dominates in the game.
As a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, Young has been recognized for his exceptional service and dedication to his soldiers and leadership while being stationed around the globe. He will continue to serve to be the best he can be.
