Spc. Zevin Linse, an instructor/shooter with the Service Rife section of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning, GA, began shooting Service Rifle in 2014.
He grew up in Kent, WA, and graduated from Kentwood High School in 2021, then enlisted in the Army when he was 18 years old. He graduated Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Advanced Individual Training as a Fire Control Specialist at Fort Sill, Oklahoma in 2021.
Linse was assigned to the USAMU Service Rifle Section in 2021.
Linse's awards include the Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Medal, Distinguished Rifleman’s Badge.
