U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Service Pistol Team

Sgt. Jason Gregoire

Sgt. Jason Gregoire, born in Barre, VT, graduated from Spaulding High School in 2007. He earned an associate degree in the Science of Recording Arts from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL in 2008. 

Gregoire enlisted in the United States Army in January 2019 and completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training to be a Multiple Launch Rocket Systems Crew Member (MOS 13M) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Following training at Fort Sill, Gregoire moved to Fort Benning, GA for assignment to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit’s Service Pistol Team in May 2019; where he currently serves as an Instructor and Shooter.

Gregoire has had multiple accomplishments as both a Shooter and a Soldier. He won the Mission Engagement Brigade’s FY21 Best Warrior Competition. During the 2022 competition year he won the historic CMP’s President’s 100 Pistol match. Gregoire has developed his skills as an instructor and has worked assisting and teaching marksmanship in three clinics conducted by the Service Pistol Team. He has been the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit’s Partners in Education representative for the past two years helping organize and execute activities for children at Dexter Elementary School on Fort Benning. 

Gregoire’s awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal with one bronze oak leaf cluster, Distinguished Pistol Shot Badge, President’s Hundred Tab, and the German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency.
