ABOUT US:

Headquartered in Denver, the battalion is one of the largest units within U.S. Army Recruiting Command, encompassing an area of more than 200,000 square miles. Overseeing operations across 39 recruiting centers located in Colorado; Nebraska; and parts of Wyoming, Denver Battalion’s primary mission is to discover and recruit the most qualified and eligible populations for service in the U.S. Army (active duty) and Army Reserve.

The responsibilities of the Denver Army Recruiting Battalion are many, but our primary reason for being is to recruit the highest quality individuals to meet the requirements of the U.S. Army and Army Reserve.

U.S. Army Recruiting Command welcomed a new command team during a change of command and change of responsibility ceremony here July 23. Maj. Gen. Kevin Vereen became the 27th USAREC commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. John W. Foley accepted responsibility as the new senior enlisted leader of the command. The two follow Maj. Gen.
