MISSION
The Third U.S. Army Recruiting Brigade (Marauders) recruits America’s best talent throughout America's
heartland to serve and win in the U.S. Army. We employ Trust, Training, and
Teamwork to achieve our assigned mission and hold each other
accountable. A Marauder is authentic, innovative, team-oriented,
tenacious, and loyal.
VISION
The Marauder Brigade creates a market-based micro-targeting
approach to recruiting operations through the empowerment of individual
Recruiting NCOs and Leaders; a comprehensive market analysis to understand the operating
environment and develop relationships at each echelon; promotion
of teamwork within stations, companies, and battalions; and the authentic
and innovative prospecting techniques of trained Recruiters. To activate
enlistments, the brigade focuses its physical presence by leveraging market
potential and penetration through the targeting process (Decide, Detect,
Deliver, Access), operationalizing social networks, and using authentic virtual
means to augment daily face-to-face operations.
TRUST – The Marauder Brigade earns the trust of
teammates, the community, applicants, and influencers through authentic
relationships, investment in people, and leadership that doesn’t just make a
difference but IS THE DIFFERENCE.
TRAINING – The Marauder Brigade prides itself
on creating a learning organization to train Recruiting NCOs and Leaders on how
to succeed at the MICRO level of recruiting by understanding and incorporating
individual work ethic and market dynamics into recruiting plans and operations.
TEAMWORK – Life and the Army is a team
sport. The Marauder Brigade is a winning team that collaborates, engages in healthy
competition between units, and takes care of each other. We share best
practices, recognize accomplishments, hold each other accountable, and take
care of Army families. We treat applicants and Future Soldiers like members of
our Squad. We respect the communities in which we serve and build authentic
rapport. We win as a team.
