Launch of "Your Future Starts Here" Mini-Series

USAREC Public Affairs

U.S. Army Recruiting Command launched an 11-episode mini-series today to shatter misconceptions about Basic Combat Training and answer questions about what it takes to become a U.S. Army Soldier.

Basic training is one of the biggest fears for many applicants, so the social media-focused series, "Your Future Starts Here," will help them understand what new recruits experience during training to help ease those fears.

Two current recruiters,  Staff Sgt. Archie Masibay from Central California Recruiting Battalion and Staff Sgt.  Chris Freeman from Columbia Recruiting Battalion, spent a full week at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, filming the key aspects of basic training and asking drill sergeants and trainees some of the most common questions asked.

One episode will be released every week for the next 11 weeks on USAREC's Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter pages. Recruiters can download the episodes using the Digital Engagement Fusion Team's recruiter content portal.
