More than 60 future Soldiers take enlistment oath at U.S. Army Special Operations Museum

Fayetteville, NC — More than 60 men and women raised their right hands and took the oath of enlistment Saturday, Aug. 16, during a ceremony at the U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum. The enlistees, who represent communities across North Carolina, were sworn in by Lt. Gen. Gregory Anderson, commanding general of the XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg.

USAREC Best Warrior named after first-ever virtual competition

FORT KNOX, Ky. — A 2nd Recruiting Brigade Soldier was named the U.S. Army Recruiting Command Best Warrior after the command’s first virtual competition held June 22-25. Staff Sgt. Channing Hosey, who is a recruiter in the Raleigh Battalion, won the weeklong competition, which included a combination of physical challenges at the home station and a virtual board to test their knowledge.
