In a ceremony conducted at the 3rd Brigade Headquarters on 19 October, he received the Superior Civilian Service Award, Certificate of Appreciation and Certificate of Retirement. Brigade Commander Col. Eric Lopez, and Brigade Command Sergeant Major, Cmd. Sgt. Maj. Ryan Razon, presented the awards.
