Command Sgt. Maj. Stephanie A. Manan is a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She entered the U.S. Army in March 1993 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where she completed basic combat training and furthered her advanced individual training at Fort Lee, Virginia, where she was awarded the MOS of 92W, water purification specialist.
Her previous assignments include the Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion, Pennsylvania; Miami Recruiting Battalion, Florida; Headquarters USAREC, Fort Knox, Kentucky; Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion, Pennsylvania; 782nd Main Support Battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 501st Corp Support Group, Korea; and 530th Supply and Service Battalion, Fort Bragg.
Manan has held various duty and leadership positions, including section sergeant, station commander, waivers NCOIC, and first sergeant.
