CSM Stephanie A. Manan

Command Sgt. Maj. Stephanie A. Manan is a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She entered the U.S. Army in March 1993 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where she completed basic combat training and furthered her advanced individual training at Fort Lee, Virginia, where she was awarded the MOS of 92W, water purification specialist.

Her previous assignments include the Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion, Pennsylvania; Miami Recruiting Battalion, Florida; Headquarters USAREC, Fort Knox, Kentucky; Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion, Pennsylvania; 782nd Main Support Battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 501st Corp Support Group, Korea; and 530th Supply and Service Battalion, Fort Bragg.

Manan has held various duty and leadership positions, including section sergeant, station commander, waivers NCOIC, and first sergeant.

Manan is a graduate of Airborne School, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention, Basic Recruiter Course, Station Commander Course, Guidance Counselor Course, Master Resilience Trainer, SJPME I & II, Course Basic Leaders Course, Advance Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, First Sergeant Course, and U.S. Army Sergeants Major Course (Class 68). 

Her awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (3OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4 OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (numeral 4), Drivers Badge, and French Airborne Wings.

Manan's earned a Bachelor of Science in human resources from Post University.

She is married to Tommy Manan and they have two children, Seth and Brianis.
