Sergeant Jonathon A. Wannemacher

SGT Wannemacher was born on September 18th 1991 to Charles and Tina Wannemacher in the town of Delphos, Ohio.  He graduated from Delphos St. John’s High School in 2010.  SGT Wannemacher joined the Army when he was 21 years old and graduated OSUT at Fort Benning, GA in 2014.

SGT Wannemacher was assigned to the 82nd ABN DIV upon completion of OSUT and Airborne School.  SGT Wannemacher was then chosen to be part the 2-501st Reconnaissance Platoon where he served for three years and graduated from the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leadership Course.

SGT Wannemacher was recruited into the USAMU Service Rifle Section in 2018.  He earned Presidents Hundred and Distinguished Rifleman’s Badge at the National Matches in 2018.  He also holds the Interservice EIC record and was a firing member of the winning 2019 Interservice 10 Man Team Match.

SGT Wannemacher’ s awards include the Presidents Hundred Tab, Distinguished Rifle Badge, Silver EIC Pistol Badge, Parachutist badge, Army Achievement Medal, Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Global War On Terror Medal, and Army Good Conduct Medal
