Central California Army recruiters receive Soldier's Medal
Staff Sgt. Michael Marl and Staff. Sgt. Isaiah Locklear, Army recruiters assigned to the Central California Recruiting Battalion, received the Soldier's Medal during a ceremony held in San Francisco on Nov. 9. The recruiters received this award for their quick actions during a shooting at the Tanforan Mall in San Bruno, California this past July. Marl and Locklear ensured the safety of applicants visiting their recruiting station before running towards the gunfire. They provided aid to two young boys who were injured during the incident.

Nov. 1, 2019 - The U.S. Army Parachute Team, also known as the Golden Knights, welcomed a second C-147A aircraft on Oct. 16, highlighting efforts to improve safety, readiness and reduce operating costs for the Army’s official parachute demonstration team.
