U.S. Army Recruiting Command is pre-screening all Future Soldiers who are about to ship to basic training to ensure they have not been exposed to COVID-19, or coronavirus disease.

The U.S. Army is seeking qualified individuals to serve in the infantry and is offering signing bonuses up to $15,000 or student loan repayment up to $65,000, depending on the length of the term of service and the training ship date.

Students have out of this world Army Enlistment

Richmond Recruiting Battalion future Soldiers joined high school students from across the U.S. in the first nationwide oath of enlistment ceremony that was, quite literally, out of this world Feb. 26. The Richmond Recruiting Battalion alone welcomed nearly 30 future Soldiers, with virtual swear ins at Princeton Senior High School in Princeton, W.Va. and Prince George High School in Richmond, Va.

Army astronaut to administer oath of enlistment from space

U.S. Army Recruiting Command is partnering with NASA and Space Center Houston to host the first nationwide oath of enlistment from the International Space Station on Feb. 26, 2020. Army astronaut Col. Andrew Morgan will administer the oath on a live broadcast more than 800 Future Soldiers at more than 100 locations across the country and will answer questions from participating schools.
