Soldier and Family Assistance Branch to host dating violence, awareness classes in February

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, and U.S. Army Recruiting Command is offering several virtual classes for its families to ensure parents and teens understand how to navigate the current dating environment in a safe and healthy way.

The command’s Soldier and Family Assistance Branch will host courses throughout the month to discuss online safety, unhealthy relationship warning signs and more.

All courses required registration in advance, and participants ages 12-18 will need a consent form signed by a parent or guardian.

Participants can register for any class by emailing usarmy.knox.usarec.mbx.hq-g1-soldier-and-family-assistance-branc@mail.mil.

Digital Health and Safety for Parents - Feb. 2 at 12pm EDT

Digital Health and Safety for Teens and Young Adults - Feb. 2 at 8pm EDT

Parents: Preparing Your Teen for Dating - Feb. 9 at 12pm EDT

Warning Signs of an Unhealthy Relationship for Teens and Young Adults - Feb. 16 at 8pm EDT

Building Self-Concept for Teens and Young Adults - Feb. 23 at 8 pm EDT
