Top station commanders to be recognized at the Hall of Heroes

 The Army’s most senior enlisted leader will recognize U.S. Army Recruiting Command’s top station commanders at the Pentagon’s Hall of Heroes April 17.

Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel A. Dailey is scheduled to highlight 13 station commanders for their success in the second quarter of the fiscal year.

USAREC selected two station commanders from each recruiting brigade and one station commander from the Special Operations Recruiting Battalion.

These top recruiting station’s achievements ranged from 175 percent to 400 percent over their assigned missions. The special operations recruiting station recruited 387 current Soldiers to attend special forces, psychological operations, and civil affairs assessment and selections courses.  Medical Recruiting Brigade stations recruited 24 future officers from areas historically difficult to fill for the Medical and Chaplain Corps.

USAREC’s top station commanders of the second quarter are as follows:

 

1st Recruiting Brigade

Staff Sgt. Rick Badem, Barre Recruiting Station – Barre, Vermont

Staff Sgt.  David Sass, Christiansburg Recruiting Station – Christiansburg, Virginia

 

2nd Recruiting Brigade

Sgt. 1st Class Jermaine Maddox, High Point Recruiting Station – High Point, North Carolina

Staff Sgt.  James Macdonald, Salisbury Recruiting Station – Salisbury, North Carolina

 

3rd Recruiting Brigade

Staff Sgt. Johnathan Wood, Escanaba Recruiting Station – Escanaba, Michigan

Staff Sgt. John Powe, Bourbonnais Recruiting Station Bourbonnais, Illinois

 

5th Recruiting Brigade

Staff Sgt. Jonathan Lane, Scottsbluff Recruiting Station – Scottbluff, Nebraska

Sgt. 1st Class Ebony Thomas-Yarborough, Park North Recruiting Station – San Antonio, Texas

 

6th Recruiting Brigade

Staff Sgt. Dustin Brothers, Susanville Recruiting Station – Susanville, California

Sgt. 1st Class Art Paynecaban, Nampa Recruiting Station – Nampa, Idaho

 

Medical Recruiting Brigade

Sgt. 1st Class William Reese, Salt Lake City Medical Recruiting Station – Salt Lake City, Utah

Sgt. 1st Class Michael Rosato, Northeast Chaplain Recruiting Station – Columbia, Maryland

 

Special Operations Recruiting Battalion
