Top recruiters to be recognized at the Hall of Heroes

USAREC Public Affairs

The secretary and chief of staff of the Army will recognize the Army’s top recruiters at the Hall of Heroes in the Pentagon Feb. 4.

The Honorable Dr. Mark Esper and Gen. Mark Milley are scheduled to highlight 13 recruiters from across U.S. Army Recruiting Command for their success in the first quarter of fiscal 2019.

Based on numbers from October through December, USAREC selected two recruiters from each brigade and one recruiter from the Special Operations Recruiting Battalion to be recognized by Army leaders and spend some time in the nation’s capital.

The 10 individuals from the recruiting brigades accessed a combined total of 159 new recruits; the two medical recruiters had 24 board selected officers; and the SORB recruiter had 150 warrant officers boarded, which made up 31 percent of all warrant officers boarded in first quarter.

"I am so excited to bring these top-notch recruiters to the Pentagon to meet Army senior leaders," said Maj. Gen. Frank Muth, USAREC commanding general. "It truly shows the value of what we do every day to the rest of the Army. We have the full support of leaders at the highest level!"
