FORT KNOX, Ky. –
Fort Knox, Ky. (25 Oct 2018) - Mr. Steven Dirkx, US Army 3rd Recruiting Brigade Chief, Information Management Officer, received the Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service from the US Army Columbus Recruiting Battalion Leadership Team, Lt. Col. Che Arosemena and Cmd. Sgt. Maj. Torenzo Davis.
Mr. Dirkx provided much needed support after The Pioneers lost their battalion IMO due to illness. Mr. Dirkx stepped in and kept the Internet up, provided support and service to laptops and computers in the Columbus footprint. Because of Steve's dedication and continued support, Columbus was able to stay online and work toward making mission.
