Welcome to the Milwaukee Recruiting Battalion!  The Milwaukee Battalion serves as the headquarters for 39 recruiting stations overseen by: four Wisconsin-based recruiting companies (Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton and Fort McCoy), one Michigan-based recruiting company (Iron Mountain), and one Illinois-based recruiting company (Loves Park).

USAMU’s SFC Ryan Franks Clinches Back-to-Back Titles at the Interservice Pistol Championship
Sgt. 1st Class Ryan Franks, an Instructor/Shooter assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Service Pistol Team, grades targets at the 2024 Interservice Pistol Championships at Fort Moore, Ga. Nov. 4, 2024. This is Frank's second consecutive win at Interservice Pistol Championships.
Nov. 13, 2024 - Sgt. 1st Class Ryan Franks, an Instructor/shooter assigned as a Service Pistol Team Chief assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU), has achieved an impressive feat by winning the 2024 Interservice Pistol Championship not once, but twice in a row.

Oct. 22, 2024 - Sgt. 1st Class Derick Arellano, a Soldier serving in the U.S. Army Recruiting Command Headquarters G-3 Policy department, competed at the 65th Annual U.S. Armed Forces Open Chess Championship Oct. 12-14 at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Oct. 15, 2024 - In September, Soldier-Athletes of the U.S. Army tested their mettle against over 200 American athletes during the 2024 Strongman Corporation National Championships held at the Greenville Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina. These athletic competitions allow Soldiers to support the overall Army recruiting mission by conveying to the greater public that the Army is an institution where individuals can serve the nation while also excelling in their individual passions.
