Welcome to the Milwaukee Recruiting Battalion!  The Milwaukee Battalion serves as the headquarters for 39 recruiting stations overseen by: four Wisconsin-based recruiting companies (Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton and Fort McCoy), one Michigan-based recruiting company (Iron Mountain), and one Illinois-based recruiting company (Loves Park).

6th Medical Recruiting Battalion Honors Veterans During Wreaths Across America Day
Dec. 19, 2024 - For the third consecutive year, the Soldiers and civilians of the U.S. Army 6th Medical Recruiting Battalion came together to honor the nation’s veterans through their participation in Wreaths Across America Day. This annual event, held on December 14, reflects the spirit of the holidays by remembering the sacrifices of those who served, honoring their legacy, and teaching the next generation the value of freedom.

Meet your recruiter- Sgt. 1st Class Shayne Hayes
Sgt. 1st Class Shayne Hayes, a native of McHenry, Illinois, serves as a recruiter at the Bloomington Recruiting Station in Bloomington, Indiana.  He was recently recognized by the leadership of U.S. Army Recruiting Command as a standout performer in the command.

17 Soldiers Master their Craft
This week 49 Soldiers from across the country traveled to Fort Knox, Kentucky, to participate in the Master Recruiter Badge competition. After a week of intense testing and preparation, 17 Soldiers emerged as experts in the recruiting field and earned the Master Recruiter Badge in a ceremony at U.S. Army Recruiting Command headquarters, Dec. 13.
