Welcome to the Phoenix Recruiting Battalion
Welcome! Congratulation on your assignment to the Phoenix Recruiting Battalion. You will be joining a team of over 270 recruiters, operating across two states. The Phoenix Recruiting Battalion is one of seven battalions within the 5th Recruiting Brigade, with 6 recruiting companies, and 38 recruiting stations.
You will be tasked with one of the most important missions that the Army has, the recruitment of highly qualified men and women to enlist into the United States Army. It will be tough and hard work, fraught with frustration; however, the first time you guide a young man or woman into the United States Army you will know that it was worth it.
Assignment to the Phoenix Recruiting Battalion means that you will be located either in Arizona or New Mexico, both states have beautiful landscapes and tons of things to do in and out-doors. Both states have a multitude of educational opportunities, from state universities down to community colleges. Take advantage of your assignment, make the best of it, and have fun.
In-processing is completed by appointment. Contact your sponsor who will make arrangements for in-processing. If, for whatever reason, cannot communicate with your sponsor call your new company 1SG or the battalion S1.
