FORT KNOX, Ky. –
U.S. Army Recruiting Command leaders recognized the top units, civilian employees and recruiting NCOs for fiscal 2021 during the Annual Leaders Training Conference here last week.
Maj. Gen. Kevin Vereen and Command Sgt. Maj. John Foley, the USAREC command team, presented the awards during several ceremonies held throughout the week.
“The essence of excellence really resides here in this command,” Vereen said. “We talked about challenges to not only our nation, but challenges to recruiting, and what we have had to endure over the last 15 months. Despite all of the challenges, I think what is worth noting is our leaders, our noncommissioned officers, our officers, our civilians have overcome them and achieved excellence.”
