Stay in your plan
If you want to stay in your current TRICARE health plan, you don’t have to re-enroll. You’ll continue in your current health plan through 2023 or as long as you’re eligible.

Enrolling in or changing plans
If you choose to make enrollment changes, use one of the options below:

Missing open season
If you miss the open season period, you can only enroll in or make changes to TRICARE Prime and TRICARE Select plans if you have a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). A QLE makes you eligible for a special enrollment period, as outlined in the TRICARE Qualifying Life Events Fact Sheet. Remember if you aren’t enrolled in a health plan, you can only receive care at military hospitals and clinics if space is available.

With open season here, now is the time to make sure you get the TRICARE coverage you need or your family needs. If you have questions about TRICARE, you can find many answers on the TRICARE website.

Army Fee Assistance is offered through Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA).  It was created to provide authorized Reserve and Active-Duty personnel assistance in locating, selecting, and offsetting the cost of civilian childcare when on-base childcare is not available or a viable option for the service member and their family. The program available through CCAoA provides subsidies for eligible military dependents enrolled in quality commercial childcare programs throughout the United States.

Child Care Aware® of America authorizes subsidy amounts based on Total Family Income (TFI) for those eligible Army families and supplies monthly payments directly to the prospective childcare provider. The Army Fee Assistance Subsidy is the difference between what the Sponsor would pay for on-post childcare and the community-based childcare provider’s rate, up to a provider rate cap of $1700 (starting 1 Dec 2022) per child per month.

The Army Sponsor is responsible for the DoD-established parent fees that sponsors pay on post, and any amount over the provider rate cap of $1700 (starting 1 Dec 2022). If you would like more information on your parent fees, please call 1-800-424-2246 to speak to a representative at CCAoA. You can review more information on provider rate caps and fee assistance calculations.
