Foster with CPT Dan Curtin and 1SG Rodney Heikkinen discussing how best to build and apply a patch to a US Coast Guard cutter along the Persian Gulf, again with 7th Engineer Dive Detachment [Heavy Salvage]. The vessel collided with a submerged metal buoy, and suffered from a large hull horizontal hull breach. The vessel was taking on water and the crew had temporarily slammed wooden pegs and tarps into the hole while the pumped out the seawater that continued to pour in.
