On June 7th, the UCSF School of Dentistry marked a historic milestone by holding its Inaugural U.S. Army pinning ceremony at the iconic Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA. In this prestigious event, three distinguished officers were promoted to the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Mark Benton, the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army.

Sgt. 1st Class Angel Marrero Falcón. Originally from Caguas, Puerto Rico, serves as a Recruiter at the Dallas Army Medical Recruiting Station in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Staff Sgt. Christian Rodriguez, a native of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, serves as a Recruiter at the San Antonio Medical Recruiting Station in San Antonio, Texas. 

Sgt. 1st Class Jordan Soriano, a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, serves as a recruiter with the 6th Medical Recruiting Battalion in Las Vegas, Nevada. Soriano joined the Army as a combat medic specialist because it put him in a position to make a real impact on the welfare of his fellow Soldiers.  

Staff Sgt. Zachary Clark, a native of St. Louis, Missouri serves as a Recruiter with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. USAREC leadership recently recognized him as a standout performer in the command.
