Lt. Col. Eliot Proctor

Lt. Col. Eliot Proctor is from Danville, California. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2007 where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery. His military education includes the Field Artillery Basic Course, Intelligence Captains’ Career Course, and the Command and General Staff College. He holds a Master of Education degree in Kinesiology from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.
Lt. Col. Proctor previously commanded A Battery, 4th Battalion, 319th Field Artillery Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), Grafenwöhr, Germany. His company grade assignments include service as a Platoon Leader, Fire Direction Officer, and Fire Support Officer (FSO) in the 82nd Airborne Division, and Squadron FSO in the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team. His field grade assignments include Brigade FSO and Battalion Executive Officer in 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. He also served as a RAND Military Fellow in Santa Monica, California and Operations Officer in the Fires Hardware Division of the G-8.
Lt. Col. Proctor has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve - Afghanistan and Operation Atlantic Resolve. He joins the Milwaukee Recruiting Battalion following an assignment in the Office of the Chief Legislative Liaison at the Pentagon.
His awards include the Bronze Star Medal (with Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Commendation Medal (with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster), and Army Achievement Medal (with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters).
He is married to Dr. Hillary Schaefer of Wausau, Wisconsin and has a 6-year-old son, Theo.
