Staff Sgt. Chuck Riegel

Staff Sgt. Chuck Riegel is a Marksmanship Instructor for the Instructor Training Group with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, Fort Moore, Ga.

He was born on Long Island, New York and graduated high school in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2006. He joined the Army in July 2006 and completed Basic and Infantry Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. He then completed the Basic Airborne Course. He Served in the 82nd Airborne Division, 25th Infantry Division, 1st Armored Division and 316th CAV. He served multiple tours in support of OIF,OEF and OIR.

Riegel's schools include Infantry OSUT, Basic Airborne Course, Javelin Gunnery Course, United States Army Sniper School, Sniper Employment Leaders Course, Advanced Situational Awareness Basic Course, Advanced Situational Awareness Advanced Course, Basic Military Mountaineering Course, Assault Climbers Course, Common Faculty Development Instructor course, Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Homeland Security Firearms Instructor Certification/Pistol Optics Instructor Course, Homeland Security Vehicle Based Firearms Instructor Course.
