Col. Julian Perez graduated from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant on December 2000 into the Quartermaster Corps where he attended the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course at Fort Lee, Virginia. He is also a graduate of Central Michigan University (M.S.) and the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy (M.S.).
Commissioned into the Quartermaster Corps, Perez has held a variety of duty positions from the tactical to strategic levels to include: Maintenance and Water Platoon Leader, Shop Officer, Company Executive Officer, Supply Support Activity Accountable Officer, Support Operations Supply and Services Officer, Support Operations Maintenance Officer, Deputy Support Operations Officer, Company Commander, Training with Industry with ExxonMobil, Battalion Operations Officer, Deputy Director of the Petroleum and Water Department at Quartermaster School, Support Operations Officer, Battalion Executive Officer, Commander’s Initiatives Group Officer, G4 Multinational Interagency Division Chief, Professor of Military Science, Battalion Commander, and his most recent assignment as the Chief of Staff for US Army Physical Disability Agency.
Perez has served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Inherent Resolve. His assignments include: 61st Maintenance Company, 498th Combat Support Battalion, Camp Kyle, Korea; 40th Quartermaster Company, 524th Combat Support Battalion, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; 204th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Ft. Carson, Colorado; Training with Industry with ExxonMobil, Fairfax, Virginia; Petroleum and Water Department, Quartermaster School, Ft. Lee, Virginia; 194th Combat Service Support Battalion, Camp Humphreys, Korea; Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; US Army South G-4, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas, St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, DLA Energy, Houston, Texas.
Perez military schooling includes Senior Service College at the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, Command and General Staff College, Combined Logistics Captain Career Course, Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, and the Rigger School.
