Spc. Jared A. Eddy

Jared Eddy was born in Columbus, GA, and graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, GA. He graduated college from the University of West Virginia in 2022 with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He enlisted on active duty in July of 2022 and was assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit International Rifle Team as a shooter/instructor. 

Before joining the Army, Jared shot for four years at West Virginia University competing in the NCAA championships twice. The same year he placed 4th in smallbore at NCAA championships he also tied the WVU school record of a 595 in smallbore. 

His military schools include Airborne School (2022), Parachute Rigger School, Fort Lee, VA (2023). 

His military awards include: The National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal.
