Andrew Foster was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated high school from Franklin County in Frankfort, Kentucky. Following high school, he earned his associate degree in Gunsmithing from Montgomery Community College in Troy, North Carolina. He enlisted in the Army in May 2023 as a 91F Small Arms/Artillery Repair. He completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Gregg-Adams, Virginia. He was assigned to the USAMU Custom Firearms shop in December 2023 as a gunsmith for the Action Shooting Team.
Pfc. Foster is a Distinguished Honor Graduate of the United States Army Ordnance School.
