Command Sergeant Major Shade S. Munday became the senior enlisted leader for U.S. Army Recruiting Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky, on March 10, 2023.

Command Sergeant Major Shade S. Munday is a native of Morristown, South Dakota and he enlisted in the Army in May 1995.

He attended basic training and advanced individual training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
