U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Instructor Training Group

Sgt. 1st Class Michael Widick

Sgt. 1st Class Widick was born in La Habrah, CA. He joined the Army in January 2010. Widick has served as a Team Leader, Squad Leader, Sniper, and Platoon Sergeant in 3rd Ranger Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment out of Fort Benning, GA. During his time, he deployed 12 times to Iraq, Afghanistan as well as other locations. Widick was assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit in Aug 2020 as a marksmanship instructor and now serves as an Instructor Leader for the Instructor Training Group. 

His military training includes Basic Training 2010 FBGA, Airborne School 2010 FBGA, Ranger Assessment and Selection Program 2010 FBGA, Special Unit Ranger Tactics Course 2011 FBGA, U.S Army Ranger School 2011 FBGA, Combat Life Saving Course 2012 FBGA, Army Sapper School 2011 Fort Leonard Wood Missouri, U.S Army Jumpmaster School 2013 FBGA, Regimental Marksmanship Course 2015 FBGA, Warrior Leader Course 2013 FBGA, Advanced Leader Course FBGA 2015, Senior Leader Course 2019, Regimental Master Breacher Course 2017 FBGA, Staff Driver 2018 Fort Leonard Wood Missouri, Special Operations Combative Program level 1 and 2, Advance Long Range Sniper Course 2020.
