Staff Sgt. Jungman was raised in Caldwell, Texas. He joined the Brazos 4-H Sportsman’s Club at 8 years old and started competing in International Skeet at the age of eleven. He graduated from Caldwell High in 2013. After three and a half years of attending Texas A&M and Blinn College, he chose to join the U.S. Army.
Upon completion of basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, Jungman was assigned to the USAMU Shotgun Team as a shooter/instructor.
His awards include the Army Achievement Medal, an Army Commendation Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, an NCO Professional Development Ribbon, an Army Service Ribbon, and the International Distinguished Shooter Badge #517.
