Staff Sgt. Phillip Jungman was raised in Caldwell, Texas. He joined the Brazos 4-H Sportsman’s Club at 8 years old and started competing in International Skeet at 11. He graduated High School from Caldwell High in 2013. After 3 ½ years of attending Texas A&M and Blinn College, he chose to join the Army.
Upon completion of basic training at Fort Benning, he was assigned to the USAMU as a Shooter/Instructor.
His awards include Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, and the International Distinguished Shooter Badge #517.
