Staff Sgt. Timothy Sherry was born in Evergreen, Colorado, and graduated from Mountain Vista High School in 2012. He attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering May 2017.
Sherry enlisted on active-duty October 2017 and was assigned to the USAMU International Team as a shooter/instructor.
Sherry had a distinguished shooting career before joining the Army. He was a nine-time All American (2014-2016), individual NCAA champion (2014), and conference champion (2015) with the UAF rifle team.
His military schools include:
Infantry OSUT (2018) and BLC (2020).
